For their wedding day, Leena and Patrick chose Chicago—a place they felt drawn to, even from across the country. They started their morning in a retro Airbnb filled with rich textures and vintage charm before spending hours exploring downtown for portraits surrounded by the city’s architecture.


With no guests and no hard schedule to answer to, the day became a chance for them to simply enjoy each other and the city around them. It was just the two of them, with my assistant and me documenting quietly in the background as we wandered through downtown streets and pockets of light, letting the rhythm of the day guide us.


Their ceremony in a tucked-away garden offered a peaceful, meaningful moment within the energy of the city—a truly intimate elopement for pair, filled with intention and ease.
