I’m Sonya, a North Carolina-based wedding photographer working throughout Charleston and the Southeast. I photograph on digital, 35mm, and medium format film, with super 8 films available.
My approach combines a fine art sensibility with careful observation. I’ll guide you through portraits with attention to light, composition, and movement, and bring that same care to documenting the celebration. The photographs feel elevated while reflecting your personalities and the details you’ve chosen.

And of course, the photos. They are perfect. Sonya captured our day so beautifully and authentically. Every photo feels natural, genuine, and completely us. She has such a creative eye and an incredible ability to capture moments.
